Obstruction of the Airway

These pictures show a tumor in the windpipe (trachea) that is blocking air flow to and from the lungs. Bronchoscopy may be done to find the tumor and remove a piece of it for biopsy to determine if it is cancer. Some tumors also can be removed during bronchoscopy.
