Nosebleeds Directory
Nosebleeds can be scary. Luckily, most nosebleeds are not serious and can be handled fairly easily. Most often, trauma to the nose, can trigger a nosebleed. Less commonly, an underlying health problem, such as an inability of the blood to clot, may contribute to the bleeding. If you get a nosebleed, stay calm, sit up straight, and lean your head forward, pinching your nostrils together for 10 minutes. Follow the links below to find WebMD's comprehensive coverage about nosebleeds, how to treat them, when to be concerned, and much more.
